The MD of Smoky River No. 130 is accepting applications for the Recreation Capital Funding Program for projects to be considered during the 2027 budget process.
This program assists eligible non-profit recreation, sport, community, and tourism organizations with major capital projects that enhance facilities and benefit residents throughout the Smoky River region. Tourism projects were added as an eligible funding category following amendments to the program in August 2026.
Applications must be submitted by October 31, 2026.
Applicants are encouraged to review the program guidelines and eligibility requirements before applying.
