Le district municipal de Smoky River n° 130 est divisé en six (6) divisions électorales, comme illustré sur la carte municipale du MD. Chaque division est représentée par un (1) conseiller élu. Un préfet et un vice-préfet sont nommés chaque année lors de la réunion d’organisation qui a lieu en Octobre. Les élections municipales ont lieu tous les quatre ans, la prochaine élection étant prévue pour Octobre 2029.
Les réunions du conseil ont lieu le troisième mercredi de chaque mois à 9 h dans la salle du conseil. Les personnes souhaitant être ajoutées à l’ordre du jour d’une réunion du conseil peuvent contacter Kate Romyn au 837-2221 poste 103.
