I wanted to share that we are recruiting again this summer for our NAMP Standardized Patient (SP) pool. If you know anyone who may be a good fit, I would really appreciate you passing this along.

A typical SP session involves working with learners in simulated scenarios where the SP acts as a patient. Sessions can include communication practice, physical assessments, or interview-style interactions, depending on the learning objectives. SPs are provided with background information and guidance beforehand, and the overall environment is supportive and focused on helping learners build confidence and skills.

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds who are comfortable communicating and interacting with learners.

SPs are contracted on a casual basis, so there’s no long-term commitment. Individuals can sign up for sessions that fit their schedule and availability, making it a very flexible opportunity.

The SP recruitment application form is open, with additional information available on our website NAMP Standardized Patient Program.
