The fire hasn’t moved much since last night. After a conversation between Forestry and the Director of Protective Services for the MD , a fire guard is being built on the East end of the lakeshore. This is to be proactive and ensure the best possible outcome if the fire pushes into our area. Reminder to have a bag packed with all your valuables and important documents. Also it is always good practice to take medications and clothing for up to 7 days.
